In the world of international trade, custom orders often come with unique challenges—especially when they involve small batch sizes, multilingual requirements, and a lack of in-house design resources.
Today, we’re sharing the story of how we partnered with a Uruguayan buyer to turn their first personalized packaging dream into reality.

The Client: A Uruguayan Brand Owner with Big Ideas and Small Batch Needs
Our client, a passionate entrepreneur from Uruguay, had built a thriving personal brand spanning three niche markets: personal care products, pet supplies, and home décor.
However, this vision hit a wall when they approached manufacturers for custom packaging: most factories required a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 10,000 units per design, far exceeding their needs of just 2,000 units per SKU.
The Solution: A One-Stop Team for Design, Translation, and Cost Optimization
When the client reached out to us, they were skeptical—had they finally found a partner who could accommodate their small batch needs, provide professional design support, and navigate the language barrier? The answer was a resounding yes :
1. Professional Design Team: From Vision to Reality
The client came to us with a collection of brand assets—logos, color palettes, and rough sketches of their packaging ideas. Over the course of two weeks, we collaborated closely with the client, sharing draft designs, incorporating their feedback, and refining every detail until they were 100% satisfied.
For each of the 20+ product lines, we tailored the packaging to fit the product’s size and purpose. By acting as an extension of their team, we eliminated the need for them to hire external designers, saving them both time and money.
2. Multilingual Support: Breaking Down Language Barriers
Accurate translation was critical to the success of the project – our dedicated translation team, which specializes in Spanish and other key global languages, took on the task of translating all Chinese packaging information (including product descriptions, ingredients, and usage instructions) into natural, culturally appropriate Spanish.
We didn’t just do a word-for-word translation; we adapted the messaging to align with local Uruguayan dialect and consumer preferences, ensuring that every detail felt authentic to their market.
3. Cost Optimization: Negotiating with Partners to Meet Small Batch Needs
The biggest hurdle was the factory’s strict MOQ of 10,000 units per design. We knew that forcing the client to meet this requirement would blow their budget, so we turned to our network of trusted manufacturing partners.
For 2000 units order, we proposed combining multiple SKUs in a single production run, reducing the setup time and material waste for the factory. These adjustments allowed the factory to keep their costs low, and in turn, we were able to pass those savings on to the client—reducing their total packaging cost by nearly 30%.
Quality Assurance: Inspecting Every Detail to Build Trust
For international buyers, one of the biggest fears is receiving products that don’t meet their expectations. To eliminate this anxiety, we implemented a rigorous quality inspection process that kept the client informed every step of the way.
Once the factory completed production, all 30+ product lines were shipped to our warehouse in Yiwu. For each SKU, we opened the packaging to inspect the print quality (ensuring colors were accurate and text was clear), measured the dimensions to confirm they matched the approved designs, weighed the products to verify consistency, and checked for any damage or defects.
But we didn’t stop there—we documented every step of the inspection with photos and detailed reports, which we sent to the client the same day the goods arrived at our warehouse. This real-time feedback gave the client complete visibility into the quality of their order, and they could rest easy knowing that nothing would ship until it met their standards.

The Result: A Satisfied Client and a Long-Term Partnership
When the client received the final shipment, their response was overwhelming: “This is better than I ever imagined.” The personalized packaging perfectly captured their brand’s identity, the Spanish translation was flawless, and the cost savings allowed them to reinvest in other areas of their business.
But the success didn’t end there. Just two weeks after the first order was delivered, the client sent us a new inquiry—this time, they wanted to expand their product line and create custom packaging for 15 more SKUs.
What started as a single custom order had turned into a trusted, long-term partnership.
